Our artisanal honey is raw and unprocessed: it is gently filtered to remove beeswax, but is never heated, mixed, or microfiltered, meaning you get the best quality, pure honey. The bees worked hard to make it, visiting 2 million flowers to make each pound of honey. We want to ensure we preserve the integrity of their effort so you get all of the health benefits and depth of flavor from each jar of our local honey.
All of our raw wildflower honey is local to Apex, North Carolina near Jordan Lake and Saxapahaw, North Carolina by the Haw River. We haul our bees to a remote mountain site near Asheville, NC in June and July.
Our wildflower honey highlights the floral diversity of the area and includes wild blackberries, tulip poplar, locust, and privet.
We have 2 types of honey:
- Jordan Lake Honey: Apex, North Carolina
- Mountain honey: seasonally available, from the Appalachian mountains outside of Asheville

We also have small quantities of bee pollen. Bee pollen has gotten a lot of attention for its potential health benefits. We enjoy its unique flavor, with a taste like concentrated honey and the warm smell of wildflowers.
